I always love doing Engagement shoots in places that my loved up couples love! Amy and Tom now own a pub and live in Brading and so they often walk their lovely dog Flo on Brading Downs, which made it the perfect place to go! The sun was shining, the wind was crazy and the downs looked so beautiful that day. Below are a few snaps I got from our walk - I hope you like!

From the first phone conversation I had with Sarah all those months ago, I knew almost straight away that I was going to really love photographing Sarah and Nick's wedding day. Sarah and Nick are kind, friendly, intelligent people and as time has gone on I've grown more and more fond of them. They are two people who are clearly so in love and have a beautiful relationship, which is absolutely a cause for celebration! The wedding took place on the twenty third of July (this year) at the gorgeous and very picturesque New Barn Farm. I actually did a photo shoot there a couple of years back but I'd never shot a wedding there before. Above is a selection of my photos from the day. I loved every moment of it and I feel so lucky to have taken part - Thank you both x
"Holly was recommended to us, and from the start it was clear that we would enjoy working with her. She has a lovely friendly and supportive approach, and a great talent with which she captured the essence of our relationship and wedding beautifully. Her attention to detail was key, but carried out in a delicate and unassuming way. She is a lovely lady to have with you on such a potentially stressful day. Thank you Holly!" - Sarah & Nick Nikki and Alan got hitched at the Apple Farm in Freshwater, on a beautiful sunny day in July this year. I certainly had a few giggles that day and the day went so well. There was face painting, a peacock theme, laughter, tears, and the new Mr and Mrs had their first dance to "Jump Around" by House of Pain - Fabulous! Alan and Nikki are such an awesome couple and I am so honoured that I got to be a part of their special day.
Above is a slideshow containing a few snaps from the day. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Pyke! "What an amazing experience having Holly as our Wedding Photographer! We got everything we wanted and more. She is not only professional but very laid back in her approach. Our guests didn't even realise Holly was the Photographer, she blended in so well that they thought she was just one of our family. Overall we couldn't recommend Holly highly enough... Absolutely fantastic photos that captured our wedding perfectly. We also recommend getting the photo book of the day if you can, it's has come out astonishingly amazing!! Also it is a really good way to keep the memories in a hard copy to treasure forever. Thank you so much Holly.. Amazing stuff!" - Mr. and Mrs Pyke Lisa, Allan and I have done a Baby Bump shoot, a Newborn and Family shoot, and an Engagement Shoot together. So it was fair to say by the time we got round to their wedding day we we're all very comfortable together and for me it made the day extra special. The sun wasn't shining the day we hit Steephill Cove for their Engagement Shoot, but it was out in full force on their wedding day! My lovely couple said "I Do!" at the beautiful Botanic Gardens in Ventnor on the sixth of August (three days before my twenty fifth birthday). It was a wonderful day that could not have gone better (apart from baby Otto being poorly, so he was either awake and coughing constantly, or asleep...) It was my first time down The Tunnel as well, shocking as an Isle of Wight Wedding Photographer really! Above are a few snaps I got down there and a few of the rest of the wedding - I hope you like! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Bridges! xo.
"Our experience with Holly has been amazing. She has captured the most important times of our lives together, my baby bump, our family and newborn baby boy, our engagement and finally our wedding day. Holly is professional, easy to get on with, and has made each of the photo shoots we have had with her fun and relaxed. Thank you Holly you have been fantastic and your work is amazing!" - Lisa & Allan Bridges Wow... this summer is whizzing by! The Summer Wedding Season is now in full swing for me, and I've been shooting and editing A LOT of photos. I had a mad six week period in June and July in which I shot seven weddings. All editing for that stretch is now done and the images have been delivered to all seven happy couples. I hope to get them on the blog in the coming weeks. Above is a small selection of a daytime shoot I did at one of those Weddings.
Alison and Tony had a very personal and unique Wedding. Full of fun, laughter, very unpredictable ever-changing weather and a one or two huge surprises! My friend Tosin and I worked together on this one; he shooting the video and I the photos. If you're interested in having a Wedding Photography and Videography package, please don't hesitate to get in touch with either of us. "We would like to say a massive thank you to Holly Cade for the fabulous photos and professional approach throughout. From the moment we met with Holly until we collected the completed photos on the USB stick in our personalised box we have found her service to be top quality, efficient and friendly. Holly always responded promptly to our emails and calls and kept us updated with the progress of our photos. On the day she was very discreet and many guests have commented that they did not even notice she was there and taking pictures. Holly was also incredibly flexible with fitting in with our requirements and with the weather. The finished photos are fantastic and really captured what we wanted from the day. The fun and relaxed atmosphere are all incorporated in the pictures. We would strongly recommend that if you are getting married or hosting any big event that you hire a professional photographer and you can get none better than Holly Cade." - Alison & Tony Wicks It is always an honour to be asked by people you know to photograph their wedding. Diane and Dan were both in my year at school (I've known Dan since I was four years old!) and it was a strange and wonderful experience to see the two of them get married. Their wedding was the first of my summer wedding season, and what an amazing wedding to kick off my summer with! The rain managed to hold off for most of the day, and the worst we got was a few small spots of rain here and there. Thank you both for asking me to photograph your Wedding - It was an absolutely beautiful day, and it was truly an honour!
Above is a slideshow of twenty five of my favourite images from Diane & Dan's big day. They asked me to keep the amount of images I use online to a minimum as they want to keep their special day as private as possible. "We are absolutely gobsmacked at how stunning all our wedding photos are. There was such a variety, all equally as good as the other, that it has been a massive task choosing our "favourites". Thank you so much for capturing our day in the most perfect way Holly - despite the lack of instructions from us! The best thing for us was how natural you made everything - photos can be so awkward and boring but you completely took that away. You are a very talented photographer, and we would recommend you far and wide!" - Mr & Mrs Stockley |
