Ashleen & Șerban Wedding at The Apple Farm, Isle of Wight

A wasp in the wedding dress and a lady bird in the bouquet - is that a new lucky wedding combination? 🍀 
 
Maybe it meant that the rain avoided us for Ashleen & Șerban’s wedding at The Apple Farm (those clouds were very grey in the morning!). Music from Lord Of The Rings played for the signing of the register under the canopy as the sun started to come out, and this was just one of many moments on this day that made me smile.
 
Șerban’s family had come over from Romania for the wedding, and it was so great to hear a dual language wedding again, although I do always feel a bit sorry for that one guest who ends up having to translate A LOT through the day.
 
There were some lovely thoughtful family touches through the wedding, as family was clearly very important to these two, including Hydrangeas from Ashleen’s Great Nan’s garden and also duck ornaments as a tribute to her on the table with the wedding cake, and a beautiful first dance with her Dad, which ended up including her Mum and eventually Ashleen’s two sisters as well 😭
