 Oh Jack & Millie what a wonderful beautiful sunny and windy day you two had, and I LOVED IT! This day was packed from start to finish, and Millie always made sure there was plenty of time for photos, we even made a stop at Freshwater Bay to grab a quick drink on the beach whilst doing their couples photos 😂 thanks to Isle of Wight Bars Travelling Tavern. They had a beautifully personal ceremony conducted by Elaine Cesar Celebrant, and Mel and all the team at East Afton Farmhouse excelled themselves, which believe me is really saying something! Also the end of Millie's speech is possibly the best end of a Bride's speech I've ever heard: “I want to give one more thank you to... me.” *Still D.R.E by Dr. Dre starts playing* “I thank myself for making this dream wedding become reality. For me being me, for me doing all this hard work... I want to thank me for getting everyone here tonight and let's get ready to get fucked up wooooo” 🎤😎 I am so pleased for you both that after 7 years together you two got such a beautiful wedding, which definitely could have been rainy with the awful “summer” weather we were having at that time, super lucky. It is always a pleasure and more special for me when I photograph a wedding for my friends.
Rachel and Phil have been together for 13 years and it was such a joy to watch these two beautiful people get married at The Lakes Rookley, even more joyful to watch when every detail was so personal to them 🎃
Amazing BLACK (yes, black) wedding cakes by the incredible The Cakesmith, and along with the help of Finishing Touches their venue was FULL of pumpkins, flowers and details grown and made by their families, including hand crocheted skulls for wedding favours made by Rachel’s nan and Mum (mine is beautiful and lives on my desk 🥰), and the button holes and bouquets were made by Phil’s Mum and family.
They had their first dance to "As the World Falls Down" by David Bowie, and all their table names were some of their favourite horror films 💀
If you’re thinking that this wedding was probably very cool and unique, I can confirm you are 100% correct. Thank you both so much for asking me to be your photographer ♥️ it was an honour and a joy!

Is my job really that hard when I’m asked to photograph a lovely family with such a gorgeous baby?!
The three of us wondered round Northwood Park and we didn’t have the April showers that was forecast, so that was a total win!
Hannah and I have known each other since we were both 10 years old, so it was a real joy and honour to do this family shoot. Thank you so much for asking me to photograph your family ♥️

Last year I was honoured to be asked by my amazing long time second shooter and dear friend Lana Jones, do a family photo shoot with her and her family 🥰
So we hit Freshwater Bay on a beautifully sunny day in June, and had a little walk around and up the cliff.
Getting kids to do what you'd like them to on a photo shoot can be tricky, Lana's son also has Autism, and so my ethos of "just let the kids do what they want, and let them be happy" worked very well and we had two little happy people the whole time we were together, always a win in my book!
Plus if I can get them to do a lot of running about, it'll probably increase the chances of them having a nap afterwards, a win in a parents book too I am sure.

Alice Jordan & I definitely topped up our step counts for the day when we went for their engagement shoot 😆
We revisited the very spot where Jordan proposed at Alum Bay, and ended up chatting about so many things including man bags, twins, dogs, and of course tales of their proposal itself. (Also props to Alice for realising she was stood in an ants nest for a photo and being totally cool about it 😂 photos of shoes for proof)

On Jordan’s parents wedding Anniversary, he married the lovely Alice at Holy Trinity Church in Bembridge.

This family shoot believe it or not actually happened in the summer of 2023.
I know, it really doesn't look like it, and this was definitely a day I also took an umbrella with me incase we were unlucky, but we were it turns out lucky, and the most we had to deal with was a sky full of grey clouds.
This photo shoot was all the lovely Sally's idea, and it was fair to say everyone (even their dog) was feeling pretty camera shy. But we got walking around the beach area, chatting, being silly, Sally even got silly enough that she felt the need to go for a paddle! Sally was adamant that because she was at the beach, she wanted to dip her feet in the sea. Unfortunately the sea had other ideas and she got I think a little wetter than she planned, which we both had a good laugh about.
Thank you all for coming out on such a grey day to have you photos taken together as a family!

I do! I was photographing these two teenage sweethearts wedding day 😁
But first, here's few snaps from Shannon & Ryan’s engagement shoot back in July at Firestone Copse. We had so many random conversations where had on this shoot as we walked around, and I knew their wedding was going to be fun!

Accompanied by their gorgeous rescue dog Sasha, and their nearest and dearest, these two made their vows at @eastaftonfarmhouse / eastaftonfarmhouse, vows that they had written on vinyls 🤘
These two made sure their guest were taken care of with a wall of Quavers, Nik Naks and Space Raiders to greet them after the ceremony, along with Sour Shots and Biscuits, they were a big hit!
After dinner and potentially the shortest speeches EVER, evening guests arrived for a doughnut wall provided by @wedandprosperuk / wedandprosperuk, cake and dancing to @fusionparty / Fusionpartybanduk – excellent!

The lovely Wendy unfortunately has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, and she wanted to do a fun photo shoot with her equally lovely son, to document the two of them together on their favourite beach.
