Rachel & Phil's Autumn Alternative Wedding at The Lakes Rookley

​It is always a pleasure and more special for me when I photograph a wedding for my friends.
 
Rachel and Phil have been together for 13 years and it was such a joy to watch these two beautiful people get married at The Lakes Rookley, even more joyful to watch when every detail was so personal to them 🎃
 
Amazing BLACK (yes, black) wedding cakes by the incredible The Cakesmith, and along with the help of Finishing Touches their venue was FULL of pumpkins, flowers and details grown and made by their families, including hand crocheted skulls for wedding favours made by Rachel’s nan and Mum (mine is beautiful and lives on my desk 🥰), and the button holes and bouquets were made by Phil’s Mum and family.
 
They had their first dance to "As the World Falls Down" by David Bowie, and all their table names were some of their favourite horror films 💀
