Baby bumps and beyond...

​It's great when you photograph important moments in peoples lives.  It's an honour to be picked and trusted enough to be in charge of documenting these moments, knowing that those photos will be treasured, shown off, viewed over and over again and become a window into the past. .. at least I hope they will be! 

Alan and Lisa initially just booked me as the Photographer for their Wedding in August of next year.  We hit the studio last week however to have a baby bump photo shoot and had a right giggle in the process. When the baby arrives I'll also be doing a newborn shoot, which is  always a great excuse for me to cuddle babies and get a bit broody!

I love that I've started a real journey with these two! It's great to do a shoot before the Wedding in  my opinion anyway; it makes people more relaxed about having a camera in their face and they have some idea of what to expect, particularly if they have never had a wedding shoot. But to start of with something like this instead of a straight up engagement shoot, is for me a little bit extra special.
