Getting married is a wonderful thing, but planning a Wedding can be incredibly daunting. I always recommend starting off by going to a Wedding Fayre or two; get to know what suppliers and businesses are around you and see in the flesh what they do and what they can offer you. In this day and age it is very easy to just search the internet to find Photographers, Florists, dresses etc. Although the internet is amazing resource that is not to be scoffed at or underestimated, I still believe nothing beats face to face contact with someone. I have taken part in a few Wight Wedding Days Wedding Fayres. I am in their large Isle of Wight Wedding Directory and the events they do are well organised and are always a success! I really did have a great day today, It's nice to catch up with owners of businesses and see familiar faces, but also to see new faces in the form of vendors or couples. I had two bookings at today's fayre (Including my first booking for 2017) and I received a lot of interest, so fingers crossed for even more bookings! I didn't take my DSLR with me this time, but I did manage to get a few snaps on my phone before the doors opened of a few stalls that were there today. Some of these included Wight Photobooths, Doris Pinks Florist, The Events Co. Donna Jones Hairdressing, Proper Vintage and Elizabeth Smith. As far as I know, this was the last Wedding Fayre on the Isle of Wight for this year (it certainly was mine), but fear not! Wight Bridal are hosting a Wedding show on Sunday 24th January 2016 at Medina Leisure Centre - I hope to see you there! Love & Stuff xo.
