I seriously could talk about this wedding all day, but I'll try to keep it fairly short. Sarah & Anthony are two of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of working with. After talking with them initially on the phone for over an hour, it was a bit scary how similar we were and I was so happy that they chose me to capture their wedding day. I was seriously impressed with what they managed to do with such a small budget. Anthony made the ring box, Sarah made her own wedding dress (her mum had two dresses as a lot mums do, but she'd made both of them herself!), they decorated the venue (Ventnor Botanic Gardens) with the help of their family and they even sorted all the flowers and wedding favours without any help from a professional. It was the first 'first look' I've ever done and I have to say the tropical house was a suggestion I'm glad that I made as a location to do it. a) because we were unsure about what the weather would be like, what with Storm Brian hitting the UK that day and b) because it's so pretty in there! I think they are a perfect example that weddings don't need to cost the earth, and that being yourselves and doing it your own way is always the best way. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for letting me capture your day. Love & Stuff |
